Contina

The Contina line of cameras was born after World War II. They were entry level 35mm cameras, aimed at non-photographers who wanted a high quality camera to last a lifetime. While the Contina line offered lesser lenses, simpler shutters and fewer features than their higher priced siblings, they were well built in the Zeiss tradition.
