Zeiss Ikon Contarex Special
Although it is based on the Conatrex Bullseye, the lack of the meter cell makes this an
extremely clean design and a very attractive camera. It has a prism finder that can be
removed and replaced with a waist level finder. Focusing screens are easily to change from the
top.
Production was 3000 units from September 1960 through November 1966. Serial
numbers are in one batch, U24001 to U27000. Code numbered 10.2500.
